These slides are a bit of "bonus content" on optimizing a function. You later test to see if it is min, max, or inflection point. And oops, on slide 5, I say the word "minimize" when the function is the uncertainty, S. I won't re-record a 20 minute video to say the word "maximize" instead ... thank you for saying it for me!
