Hi Prerna, I also really enjoyed Mena’s video as it did a great job simplifying the concepts in the article. About the point you made on the imagination of what bilingualism would look like if languages were not named, I was thinking of the number of times I, myself and even a couple other people have dismissed being able to speak some languages just because they are not considered universal languages. And I wonder how different that would look like if languages didn’t have the social constructs that we have today.
