Hi Seminar Colleagues:
From our Course info I read that Warmups cannot be turned in past the Sunday night due time. Wednesday Hand-ins can be turned in late ... up to 2 days for a ding of 10%. These rules are relaxed if you ask me for an extension.
If anything is a few hours late ... fine! What I'm asking you for in this message is to avoid is unexcused work that is days late.
I have not been rigorous about enforcing these ... pandemic times are tough! But seeing how beautifully folks have stepped up in Phys 114 so far, and knowing how work piles on at Swat as May approaches, it feels right that we all take seriously these due dates for written work.
Please don't let a chance go by to get credit on homework by turning it in late w/o requesting an extension of me?
Finally, I'm ever ready to welcome you in Office hours ... stated ones on WASE or ones that you email to request. Are you missing a needed equation or reading, or unsure how to interpret a problem? We have a forum on Moodle for physics issues ... reach out to others through this forum? Email a friend? Email me? Zoom with me? I can help you with a quick email or a 5 minute zoom reality check!
Please stay strong; we are 2/3 of the way finished with a semester of Thermo/Stat Mech learning!
Take care and be safe,
Amy
