Since I've been giving numerical marks on your work, I owe you my explanation of what these mean.

On a warmup homework, the max grade is 5.  What does a 4 mean?  Well, it definitely does *not* mean 80% or a B-.

The 4-5 range is an A range.   3-3.99 is B range.  2-2.99 is C range.

For the hand-in problems, rescale this rule.  So 16-20 is an A range, etc.

There will be no grading curve. Curves mean competition, and we aim for collaboration.  If everyone ended up with 4.5 / 5 for their average over all homework, the test and project;   everyone would get an A.

Nothing would please me more than to have this be the case :-)
