This semester I've been working toward the completion of the Chester Justice Collection and contributing some meaningful content. In specific, up to this day, I've been editing videos for Mr. Jones in commemoration of his family and their accomplishment, including the one recorded meeting we had last semester. The task has taken a longer time than expected, but now we have plenty of media and text files to upload to a nascent permanent website for Ms. Tommie Lee Jones! My next step is to edit videos that haven't been processed yet, and continue to enter information necessary for the completion of the digital collection.
I established a line of personal connection with some community members I'm working with, which was actually quite a breakthrough for one who has been working at the backend for most of the time. I met several times with the Chester Justice Collection cohort, and our attention will be placed on the Women Change Maker's event, the organizing of which I'm probably not going to directly participate in but will do everything to support the preparation for the smooth revelation of the Collection.
For the rest of the semester, I will communicate with the community collaborators more actively and seek opportunities for practical contribution besides continuing with website building. Beyond that, I will definitely seek to connect the knowledge I gained from last semester to my community work more.
