sappho-swarthmore.pngIn this course we will cover various techniques and strategies of contemporary sculpture. We will look broadly at how to create artworks in three dimensions relating to spatial, physical, social, political, and environmental understandings. We aim to leave the course feeling confident in the processes from ideation to exhibition of sculptures and how to continue to gain creative skills beyond the classroom.
