Contemporary Issues in Human Psychology

Psychology represents a wide-ranging discipline, exploring topics from the neuron to national culture and nearly everything in between.  It also constitutes a dynamic field, constantly updating its theories and concepts to capture the latest developments in scientific research on human thoughts, feelings, and actions.  This course will cover recent findings in the major domains of inquiry, including neuroscience, perception, learning, development, cognition, social psychology, and psychopathology, as well as discuss ever-evolving techniques that psychologists employ to investigate the broad terrain of human behavior.
