Course Description:
This course provides foundations for opening possibilities in the full range of the human voice–from speaking to singing to raw sound expression–to help students cultivate an integrative personal practice, unlock creative potential, and connect with what their unique voices have to say.
Themes to Explore:
• vocal mechanics and self-care
• the voice as a bridge between body, emotion, and imagination
• working with song and text
• tools for improvisation and composition
The class is strongly recommended to all acting students and may be taken without prerequisite.
