If you use mathematica you should know that they define sinc(x) as sin(x)/x.

We define sinc(x) as sin(pi x)/(pi x),

The wikipedia article on sinc states that the former is favored by mathematicians, the latter by engineers.  (MATLAB uses the second definition)
