The internship I've been working with is the Chester Justice Collections (formerly known as the Chester Justice Digital Archive). In this spring semester, I feel as though I have been very productive and have a clear vision and tasks ahead of me. Whereas in the past, there were many hiccups and I ended up spending much longer than anticipated on a single task, this semester I've been able to better schedule tasks and get work done more efficiently.
The current projects that I am working on are: preparing for the Women Changemaker's event at the end of March, and helping organize the digital files going into the archive. I've been doing the first project by creating biographies for the new changemakers, creating posters for publicity, creating logo/sticker designs, and meeting with community partners to discuss upcoming planning and action steps. As for the second project, I've learned the skills required to organize the digital files, but I am still waiting on getting access to the amazon bucket to be able to start this work.
I feel very happy with the progress I have been able to make so far this semester. I'm also very appreciative and proud of everyone else who is helping put together the Women Changemakers event and helping with the archive! :)
