Hello, Circulation & Reserve Assistants!
March 7 - April 6: This Week in McCabe Library
News:
♦ As of Monday, March 16th, there are a few of us from Access & User Services still in the building. We are working on requests from faculty for online learning. Questions about library related materials, your schedule, or paychecks? Please email circ@swarthmore.edu or call us at (610) 328-8477 to talk to a staff member. We will do the best we can to provide you answers during this time. Note: the college will work out their policy on wages and student pay over the next few days, the final decisions are not up to the library. Any relevant updates will be posted here.♦ Spring break is extended through March 20, online classes will run March 23 through April 3, and the campus will plan to resume normal campus operations on Monday, April 6, unless otherwise noted.-----------♦Reserve Assistants:
Please check the loaner drawers during your shift and organize any items that are out of place or need their cords re-wrapped. Thank you!♦Midi keyboards (musical keyboards) can be checked out at the Reserves Desk. They are located in the storage room (door is next to Free Book shelf). Use the Building Key to open door, and the Music Cart Key to open and close the red cart. Both keys are found in the basket on the reserves shelves. Check out the item (not the keys) to the patron before handing it over.♦Any thoughts or suggestions for this page? What would you like to see? What do you dislike? Fill out this Feedback Form, it is anonymous. Much appreciated!♦ Circulation Assistants:The Proxy button is a feature on "Managing Patron Services" to be used when a student patron states they are picking up an item for a professor. This exhibition highlights one aspect of the diversity in our artists’ book collection — works made without the traditional book medium of paper. Artists’ books made of textiles, metal, glass, plastics, and wood are all on display. Notably, even the works on display that share the same medium are quite different from one another, providing a glimpse of the wide and engaging spectrum of the artist’s book.
