Welcome to Solid Waste Engineering (Garbage)!
Welcome to the world of garbage! This course introduces students the full life cycle of how municipal solid wastes are – and could be -- managed. ENGR 69 includes planning and design of processes and facilities for the management of municipal solid wastes, with a focus on quantitative analyses.
The course meets weekly for 2 hours of lecture and every other week for 3 hours of lab. This course will integrate lecture, discussion, problem solving, field trips, hands-on laboratories and a series of mini-projects.
