This course will focus on the basic elements of guitar playing including technique, theory, and repertoire. Topics include: pick & finger-style playing, reading standard notation & tablature, basic chords, strumming, learning songs by ear, and basic music theory. Students will play solo and in ensemble. No prior experience necessary.
