FMST 090. Film and Media Studies Capstone Professor White
This course begins by exploring a major paradigm or debate in the field and reviewing research methodology and production techniques. Students then undertake an individual or collaborative research or creative project (in some cases building upon work started in another class or independent study) related to this topic, meeting to workshop ideas and present works-in-progress. Research projects will incorporate multimedia presentation, and creative projects will be accompanied by written materials. Depending on instructor and class size, creative projects may be limited in format and scope. The semester culminates in a panel/film exhibition. Spring 2019 topic: Archiveology. Required for and restricted to FMST senior majors and minors.
