CHIN

CHIN003B (Second Year Chinese) is a continuation from CHIN002B (First Year Chinese). The objective of the course is to help students continue building a solid foundation for the four basic skills—listening, speaking, reading and writing—in an interactive and communicative learning environment. As the course emphasizes on accuracy in pronunciation and grammar/vocabulary usage, students will receive lots of feedback and error corrections during class practices and drills. Since the class will be conducted extensively in Chinese, students are required to preview texts according to the lesson plan and be fully prepared to participate in class. Students are required to check the course Moodle site (moodle.swarthmore.edu) regularly for class updates and information.
