Traditionally one of the core astronomy and astrophysics seminars, Stellar Astrophysics is a course heavy on student participation. We study both the phenomenology of stars and populations of stars and the physics that produces that phenomenology -- spectroscopy and radiation transport, stellar atmospheres including winds, opacity and atomic processes, stellar structure and energy sources, post-main-sequence evolution.
