As promised last week our rescheduled workshop session will be demonstrating how to 3D scan objects! If you would like to try 3D scanning yourself, you can bring a small object with you. It must have volume, be opaque, and have a matte finish (no shine). Light colors work best. Learn to turn a real-life object into a 3D file that you can use to manipulate in 3D modeling software.
We will be meeting in the newly renovated Makerspace in room 114 of Whittier Hall!
Thank you all for your patience with the rescheduling and delays we have had during our Makerspace move. I hope you have found the training and resources included in this series helpful and that you will continue to practice making inside and outside of the Makerspace.
